PDCC 44 - Color Horibilis Challenge

I love the name for the challenge this week over at The Play Date Cafe, challenge 44 is called the Color Horibilis Challenge and the horrible colors are navy blue, mustard and hot pink. At first I thought, What!! What on earth am I going to do w/ these colors, but once I started, it wasn't such a hard color combo after all. Here's my submission to the challenge. Items used: Stampin Up heartfelt stamps, ribbon, Fiskars punch, HA gems.

Very pretty, Lucille! Love that your colors start dark on the edges and get lighter as you move to the center......great design!

It's funny how some challenges seem difficult but turn out not so bad after all! You've done a lovely job with this week's colours, very soft and delicate. Thanks for playing along with us at the PDCC this week!

Beautiful border layers, and the pastel shades of this week's colours make a wonderful central image. These colours have really made this week's play date the biggest challenge yet I think, and you rose to it brilliantly! :)

GOOD GIRL! I'm SO enamored with this most delightfully stamped card, Lucille! It seems like most of us were "ok" once we got over the SHOCK of this particular palette... Your card is LOVELY! I adore your use of stamp and classic composition! Thanks for sharing your talent with the Play Date Cafe!

Oh, by the way, gorgeous cat. Mine is black and white but black cats have the edge, I think.
