All you need is love.....

do be do be doooo. The Beatles, good song :) The Hero Arts curly heart was calling out for a great sentiment and here it is. I saw this Charles Schultz sentiment a while back and kept it in mind for a Valentine's Day card. I typed the sentiment on my computer with 2 different fonts and viola!! Charles Schultz and his cute Peanuts crew were my favorites growing up. My mother bought me so many of the Peanuts cartoon books and I have them to this day, they are among my treasures from my childhood.

What's up?

I am still quite taken with this Cosmo Cricket Earth Love paper, especially these little birds. Thought this paper was perfect to pair with my new Hero Arts feathers stamps.

Items used: Cosmo Cricket earth love paper, jute twine, Hero Arts feathers stamps, diamond glaze.

Hummingbird and bells

Hummingbirds are such amazing little birds; so colorful. I cannot wait for them to return to our feeder. I love watching them zip around and always get a kick out of hearing them fly past me when I am walking outside.

Thought the Hero Arts new silhouette bells stamp was perfect to pair with one of the hummingbirds from the new HA antique engraving stamps hummingbirds. I put a little bit of diamond glaze on the pink bell, however it's not easy to see in this picture.

Feathers.....

Feathers, aren't they just wonderful? I love watching the many different types of birds that congregate and feed at our backyeard feeders. By the way, so does our cat, Boo! Boo jumps from window to window stalking the birds and having so much fun. He's a joy to watch in action. Anyway, just added the new Hero Arts feathers stamp set to my collection, here we go....
Items used: HA feathers, everyday sayings and antique engravings stamps, pearls and ribbon.

Down by the seashore....

I grew up swimming in the ocean every week-end during the summer. My father loved to swim and he loved the sea. We would take the hour or so long drive to Asbury Park, NJ and build sand castles, swim and just enjoy the day in the sun and surf. My mother would pack delicious lunches for me, my brother and my father; good food, good company and fun, what more could you ask for? When I saw this new stamp set from Hero Arts "Antique Engravings" I knew it was time to make a seashore card:

Items used: Hero Arts antique engravings and together stamp sets, black gems, cuttlebug swirl folder.
