Heartfelt wishes

This week over at The Shabby Tea Room the week #11 challenge is to make a card with hearts as the focal point. This got me to thinking how most times I only use hearts on my cards around Valentine's day. Well, this is going to change. I enjoyed putting this heart card together using summer flowers and colors:

Items used: Hero Arts hugs & kisses cling and all occasion messages stamps, Basic Grey DP, lace, gems, buttons, HA art flowers and twine.

Baby Shoes

The inspiration for Challenge #8 at Off the Wall Craftiness is showers, babies, weddings, rain, umbrella's, etc. using 2 shades of aqua and a lemon tart yellow.

This challenge was perfect for me because one of my co-worker's is expecting a baby any day, so guess which card she is receiving. Thanks for looking :)

2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan's sketch 52

Made this card with a new stamp for Kazan's sketch 52 over at 2 Sketches 4 You. My friend and I went to a stamp event this past week-end at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Colorado. Found a few new stamp companies (new to me that is). I purchased this stamp and a few others from Talkabout Stamps, a Colorado Springs company. Isn't this one fabulous stamp? I don't have a name for it as I just purchased the rubber piece and mounted it myself; it is my current favorite.

Items used: Talkabout stamps galloping horses stamp, Basic Grey Capella DP, jute twine, generic Happy father's day stamp.
