Hello

Some color challenges are just that "A Challenge". And, this week's color combo for Challenge 89 at the Play Date Cafe took a little thought; the colors are mint, buttercream and taupe, Whew!! Well, I thought this little doggy sitting in this big chair was just the ticket for this challenge. Items used: Hero Arts hello stamp, Sorry, can't remember dog in chair stamp, ribbon, button, DP.

Orange you Sweet

The wonderful oranges and sentiment on this card are made with stamps from Purple Onion Designs. You must check out Purple Onion, the stamps are wonderful. I think this card will make a sweet thank you card, what do you think?

Back in business

Well, I'm feeling fine and back in the card making biz. I made this card for my husband to send to some NAVHDA folks in Wyoming who hosted the test and Mike and some other folks. NAVHDA is the North American Versitile Hunting Dog Association. Mike took Angus, our Large Munsterlander, to Wyoming for his natural ability test and I must say our little boy did very well. He's a natural and the NA test is simply that, natural ability. The dog must point, track, retrieve from the water and other wonderful traits all hunting dogs should possess. Here's the thank you card: Items used: Northwoods pheasant stamp and Hero Arts thank you stamp, felt leaves, brad, Nestabilities, punch, DP.

I've been missing in action...

I am enrolled in Summer Card Camp 2011 and just wanted to give a little update as to why I have'nt posted cards to the student gallery. I was in the hospital for a few days. I'm home now and will be posting soon. Love all of the beautiful cards in the galleries. Lucille :)
