For this week's challenge at the Fusion Card Challenge blog, I combined the sketch and the inspiration photo to create my card. The background paper is an older Bo Bunny paper that I have held on to because I like it so much. I added some gems, a little woeden butterfly and this is what happened:
The inspiration for my card came from this Fusion inspiration hypothesis #4:
One of the recent trends in card making is "watercolor". I have always liked to watercolor and have not done it for some time. The "Wonder of Watercolor" challenge over at Moxie Fab World has inspired me, so I broke out my brushes and watercolors and put together some cards for the challenge:
For the first 2 cards I used one of my favorite Hero Arts flower stamps, stencil flower. The tuplip card uses a Blockhead tulip stamp stamped multiple times and one of the new Memory Box thank you stamps.
The new papers by Graphics 45 "Secret Garden" were a must have for me. I love the vintage feel of the papers and the images are so very pretty. Here are my first 2 cards made with this lovely paper, I am adding the top card to the challenge at the Inspirational challenge blog:
My rose card below is for the Press the Button challenge going on now at the Beyond Grey challenge blog, please stop by to see all of the DT's lovely inspiration:
My crafy friend Dorothy and I went shopping this past week-end at our favorite stamp store, Simple Pleasures and I added 2 of the new Memory box stamps to my ever-growing collection.
The challenge over at the Case Study blog this week is to take our inspiration from this fun card:
The design of the card inspired me to create this little number:
I cannot remember which company this designed paper is from, but I just love it. The sentiment is one of my new Memory Box stamps and the little wood birds are another of the items I am collecting, have added the birds, butterflies and little wood people so far.
I made so many cards this week-end, the challenge blogs I've visited have been so inspiring. One of my favorite weekly challenges is at Just Us Girls . The challenge this week is to take inspiration from this sketch (I just love sketch challenges):
I was asked to make a card with Lilacs and when I finished the card I thought it fit this sketch well, so I'm entering it to the challenge this week:
The image is from the Graphics Fairy, added some lace, a little button and background paper from Graphics 45. Vintage flower images are among my favorites and I too love lilacs :)
