Summer and Sail Boats

There is a nautical theme challenge this week over at The Card Concept and nautical means ocean and boats and swimming to me.  I used this little sail boat stamp from Lockhart for my card:

I don't make too many square cards, but this circle background stamp looks nicer on a round or square card as opposed to a rectangular card.  The little whale clip is from Stampin' Up and the sentiment stamps is from Memory Box.
Thanks for taking a peek at my blog today.
Hope you're enjoying the weather in your neck of the woods :)

I agree...the circle stamp looks great on a square card! Love the watercolor look that you created - it is THE perfect backdrop for the cute sail boats! The whale charm rocks your sweet nautical creation! Thanks for sharing your card with us at the Card Concept Challenge :)

Gorgeous... I absolutely love the watercolored background that serves to highlight the focal point. And the addition of the whale clip is just so darn adorable! Love your work! :)
