Flower Pixie

When I reorged my craft room the other day, I came across some stamps that went by the way-side.  You know how it is, you add new stamps to your collection and older stamps get pushed back.  Well, this cute little Flower Pixie is one of those stamps, isn't she adorable?

This week's challenge at the Less is More blog is a Lucky Dip, the theme is 2 or 4 legs, this little pixie has, you guessed it, 2 legs.

Glad you stopped by today, enjoy the pretty Spring flowers and the beautiful full trees!

Make a Wish

Birthdays and wishes go together like peanut butter and jelly.  We make a wish before blowing out the candles on our birthday cake.  Every kid grows up doing this and if you're lucky you continue doing it as an adult; we sure do :)

The cute stamped images and sentiment on my card are from Avery Elle and honestly it doesn't get much cuter than this!  I made this card for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches, here's the sketch:
Thanks for stopping by, be sure to make a wish, they do come true :)

Relaxing Happy Thoughts

Cute doggy, isn't he?  I just love this Whipper Snapper stamp and if you are as much of a dog lover as I am, you'll want to check out all of the dog and other great stamps Whipper Snapper has in their store.

I made this card for 2 challenges this week:

AAA Cards - for the Guys  and CAS-ology - word for inspiration is Story

This card could be given to a guy or a girl, but I used darker colors so a guy's card it is :)

And, as for a story - Well, I've always had dogs and always loved them, so this card is definitely one example of my life story.

Glad you stopped by, hope you're having happy thoughts!

May the road rise to meet you...

I made this card for the Anything Goes challenge at the  Simon Says Wednesday challenge blog.

I rearranged my craft room yesterday and came across the background paper I used on this card.  Have no idea where this paper is from or how long I've had it, but it is just so pretty.  When I saw the Anything Goes challenge I put on my thinking cap and came up with this card.

So happy you stoppled by today, may the wind be always at your back :)

Fushion

Summer will be here any day now (I hope, still very chilly in Sedalia, CO).  Anyway, Summer is always so full of colorful flowers and this paper was just what this chilly, wet day needed today.

I made this card for the challenge over at the Fusion challenge blog.  I chose to use both the sketch and the photo for my card taking inspiration from the pretty colors and using butterflies as the paper strips in the upper left corner.

Here's the Fusion inspiration:

Enjoy and remember this Memorial Day week-end :)

My Favorite Things Sketch 229

Well, I'll tell you, my little garden Gnomes are gonna catch cold here on the front range; it's been raining the entire month of May on and off.  Oh yeah, even a day of snow a few weeks ago.  The dogs are keeping me very busy with all the wet paw business, but that's o.k. they don't seem to mind the rain much :)

So, keeping warm and dry inside today I stamped the adorable Gnomes for this week's sketch challenge at the My Favorite Things Wednesday challenge.  Here's the sketch:

Glad you stopped by today.  Keep warm and dry in your neck of the woods :)

A BIG Hello!

When I saw this week's challenge sketch over at Case This Sketch the idea for this card jumped into my head. All of the stamps are from Stampin' Up.  I inked the splotch stamps with 2 colors of ink, and sprayed with water.  I then stamped the hello, fussy cut it out and popped it up with pop dots.  A few sequins hearts and another card is born :)

Here's the inspiration sketch:

So glad you stopped by, a BIG Hello to you!!

You have my heart

Cute!! Just love this stamp set from My Favorite Things called You have my heart.  The inspiration for my card came from this week's sketch challenge at Case this Sketch.

Anyone who shares their life with dogs knows they just "take your heart away", such loving companions.  My husband and I share our lives with our 2 dogs, Angus and Gracy and our sweet cat, Mr. Boo.

Here is the sketch from Case this sketch:

Glad you stopped by today!

Happiness

I made this card for the Let's Get Sentimental challenge at the Simon Says Wednesday challenge blog.  I spread red, mango and turquoise ink on my mat, sprayed with water and placed a piece of white card stock on top for the watercolor background on this card.  Had a little of the watercolor paper left and made the delicate butterfly top layer with it.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a very HAPPY day!

Fusion - French Twist

The challenge over at the Fusion Card Challenge is called French Twist!  I chose to combine both the sketch and the photo for my card.  The dress is a Hero Arts stamp I have had a long time and I just love it.  I combined gray and yellow ink, splashed with water and laid a piece of white paper on top for the watercolor effect on the dress.

Here's the photo and sketch from Fusion I used for my card:

Glad you stopped by today.
Spring is in full bloom on the front range and the lilacs are beautiful :)

Happy B-day Gnome & Butterflies

This cute little Happy Birthday Gnome card was made for Sketch #121 at Case This Sketch this week.  I recently discovered this lime green paper in my never ending pile of designer papers and  being the "color green" lover that I am I had to use it on a card right away.

Here's the challenge sketch #121

So glad you stopped by today; as we all know you can never have too many Birthday cards :)

Stars everywhere

My card was among the Top Picks at Inkspirational challenge #81

I made this card for 2 challenges this week:

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything goes
and

The stars and the angled pieces are both from the My Favorite Things Die-namics Blueprints 18.  I also added a little bit of gold star sequence, so tiny they may be hard to see.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Wonderful things do happen every day :)

MFT Sketch Challenge 226

I know I've said this before, I just love sketch challenges.  I put together this card for sketch challenge #226 over at the My Favorite Things Wednesday sketch challenge.  I used 2 MFT stamp sets, Pearls of Wisdom and You Gnome Me.

Here's the sketch:

So glad you stopped by today, be Happy :)
