Ahhhh, Coffee!

I just love the Angie Girl stamps by Angie Blom and recently added 3 of her stamps with "coffee girls" to my collection.  I colored the stamp "Brystl girl" to match the background paper on my card.

I am posting my card to 2 challenges this week:

2) Coffee Loving Cardmakers - 2018 Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Blog hop

Freshly Made Sketches challenge and DT Call

For the next two challenges Freshly Made Sketches is not only having a challenge, but also having a DT call.  I have followed FMS for a long time and because sketch challenges are my favorite I am going to submit this card for the DT call.

I used pretty paper from Our Daily Bread called Beautiful Blooms, a Poppy die, River Faerie and a Poppy stamps sentiment from the set Fairy greetings.  I added stickles to the fairies wings and to the dots on top of the tulip.

So happy you stopped by today :)

The Magic of Christmas

Christmas is a magical time of year and when I saw the challenge at Inkspirational this week "Magic" the idea for this card popped into my head.  A castle in the clouds with snow falling around, oh wouldn't that be wonderful?

The snow embossing folder is from Darcie, the cloud dies are Memory Box, the Christmas tree is Tim Holtz, the Brrr is an old Stampin' Up die, the castle is a Pink Ink stamp and the little reindeer is from a die set that came with a UK magazine.

I am entering this into 2 challenges:
Inkspirational - Magic

Baby it's cold outside.

Been cranking out the Christmas cards this past week and when I saw the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp this week I thought this card fit perfectly for the challenge.

The cute snowman is a Penny Black stamp, the sentiment is from Memory Box and the 3D snowflake embossing folder is from Sizzix.  I colored the image with Zig markers and added a few red gems to finish my card.  Oh yes and the little snowflakes are from die cuts in my die drawer.

So happy you stopped by on this "cold" day in Sedalia, CO :)

Girl drinking coffee

Recently added some Unity Angie Bloom Angie Girl stamps to my collection and when I saw this week's challenge at Casology "girl" I used this stamp for my card.  I used Zig markers to color the image and a strip of design paper from my paper drawer to give my card a little added color.

Please excuse the dimness of the photo, I took this photo at night.

So happy you stopped by today.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my US stamping friends :)

Autumn Birds

Sometimes you find a die or stamp at a craft sale that is not only beautiful but is a great price too.  I recently found this Memory Box die "Serendipity bird frame" at a craft sale and I'm so happy I added it to my growing collection of Memory Box dies.

The current challenge at Memory Box is Falling for you and I put my new die to use on this card for the challenge.  I used Zig clean brush markers to color the die and birds and a sentiment stamp from MB too.  The background paper is from Stampin' Up.
Thanks for stopping by today, a cold one here, winter is coming :)

Happy "doggone" Birthday

On a recent trip to Wisconsin to visit my friend, I stopped in a thrift store to look for stamps and found this cute dog stamp for $2.  It's just so cute and I couldn't wait to make a card with him.  So, when I saw the challenge at the Muse Card Club this week the card design spoke to me and said "Use this stamp now"!

I took inspiration from:
1) Card design
2) Balloon
3) Background embossing

Here's the Muse card by Anita:
