Happy Flowers

Recently added this lovely rose paper from BoBunny to my ever growing collection.  My mother's name was rose and her favorite rose color was peach; we had many rose bushes in our yard and the peach colored roses were always my favorite too.

I created the sentiment on my computer and cut a few of the roses out of the paper to add to the frame.  Added a few light green pearls and my card is complete.

Birthday Poppies

I know I've said this before, but Poppies are my favorite flower, just had to reiterate that :)  This is another of my cards made with Penny Black Stickeroos.  And, as it turns out the sentiment is also from Penny Black.

Under the Sea

Dolphins are such friendly fish and their cute too :)  This week's challenge at Cupcake Inspirations is a theme challenge called "Under the Sea".  I took inspiration for my card from the cupcake fish tail and the sprinkles.

Just Because with a Heart

The flowers inside the heart on my card are Penny Black Stickeroos.  I embossed the background and cut the heart frame and flowers with a die.  Then I added the sentiment and 2 gems to complete my card.

I'm adding this card to this week's challenge at the Muse Card Club, the inspiration comes from the heart card below by Steffi.  I was inspired by the heart and small sentiment.

The pretty flower stamp on my card is by Craft Consortium "Wildflower Meadow", the sentiment is from Kitchen Sink.   I colored the image with my Zig markers (my favorite coloring tool) and added the little heart as a finishing touch.

Wheeeee!!

The challenge word at Casology this week is Jump.  I won these fun Ellen Hutson stamps earlier this year and knew the cute, little foxes would be perfect for this challenge.  I colored the images with my Zig markers and fussy-cut them out.  The Wheeeee! is so fun for the jumping foxes.

WOOF!!

I just love these sweet doggies from Mama Elephant stamps.  They all have their own personalities and can be used on cards for so many different occasions.  

This week's Muse at the Muse Card Club is a cute card by Kim Heggins (see below), so I got out my matching stamps and made my card for the challenge.  The dogs, flags & star are all colored with my Zig markers

Happy Father's Day to my Dad!

My Father, Ceasar Rizzo, was the best Dad anyone could ask for. We had 3 apple trees in our back yard and Dad put a pretty double-sided swing under one of the trees. We would swing all Summer long and eat apples and vegetables from the garden. He loved to swing and so do I. I could fill a book with the wonderful things he did for me, my mother and my brother. We loved him and he adored us. I miss Him. Happy Father's day in Heaven, Ceasar-roo xoxo

Pretty flowers and butterflies

The challenge at Muse Card Club this week is a lovely card (see below) made by Tracey McNeely.  Taking an idea from Tracey's card, I used kraft paper and pink flowers with green leaves.  The stamps I used are from Craft Consortium and it's a lovely collection of stamps called wildflower Meadow.

Pink Stickeroos

I've come across Penny Black Stickeroos and I just love them, the flower and leaves on my card are made with them.

I'm adding my card to the challenge this week at Fusion, here's the inspiration photo:

I went with the sketch for the challenge, although the pretty cupcakes have pink flowers too.

Case this Sketch using Hero Arts stamps

I have saved quite a few of my older stamps and this week I've used a few to make a card.  When I saw the challenge this week at Case This Sketch I had this idea for a card right away and it just so happened I had stamps that fit well together.  I used an older background stamp from Hero Arts for the circle cut paper piece and an older butterfly/dragonfly wood block stamp set to make the butterfly.

Anniversary Card.

The challenge at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is Anniversary / Wedding this week.  Well, as it turns out my husband and I will be celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary on June 20th, great timing for my card.

I generated the sentiment on my computer and added a Memory Box die, cut to fit around the sentiment.  Added a little pink heart and Viola! my card is made.

Chicks Rule!

The challenge at Casology this week is the word "Farm".  My uncle had a small farm with goats and chickens and when I saw the challenge I thought of this cute chicken Lockhart stamp.  I colored the chicky using Zig markers, added a yellow circle, added a sentiment from my computer and little yellow flower embellishments for sparkle.

Hello Friend...

This week there is a color challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches; the colors are melon mambo, garden green and pumpkin pie.  

I cased a card by fellow stamper, Janet at Swanlady Impressions.  Janet sent me a lovely card and die cuts from Altenew called Spring Shower cover die.  I loved Janet's card so much I cased it using the die cuts and the colors from this challenge.

Birthday Unicorn

I enjoy making cards for kids (big kids too) and this little unicorn set by Simon Says is one of my favorite stamp sets for birthday cards.

I made this card for the challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations; the theme this week is "magical birthday".  I just love the unicorn cupcake photo we were given for inspiration this week (see below).  The unicorn, cloud and rainbow are embossed in gold and colored with Zig markers.  I filled in the unicorn's hooves with gold pen and added a few Nuvo sparkle drops for shine.
