Pocketful of Butterflies

I've been wanting to make a card with butterflies for a while now even though there's snow on the ground here.  So, today I got to work and put this card together.  The butterflies are cut from pretty paper by Kaiser Craft and the pocket was handmade (finally got it to look like I wanted after a few attempts.  Sentiment is from a butterfly stamp set by Rubbernecker stamps.

City Crafter Challenge - Friendship

Hi there City Crafters!  Today I am hosting the City Crafter challenge and the theme is "Friendship".  For my DT card I used one of my favorite digi stamps from Mo Manning, the 2 little girls are so happy today and my card says friendship to me.  The images are stamped onto Bristol paper and colored with Zig clean brush markers and water.

Please stop by City Crafter blog to gather inspiration from the other DT members
have some fun!!

Wine for Dinner

The stamps on my card are from Rubbernecker stamps; the sentiment makes me laugh :)  I made this card for 2 challenges (see below).  The DP is from Stampin' Up and I added glossy accents to both the wine bottle and glass, a little gold ribbon too.  For the Fusion challenge I turned the design of the card.

Autumn Birds

Sometimes you find a die or stamp at a craft sale that is not only beautiful but is a great price too.  I recently found this Memory Box die "Serendipity bird frame" at a craft sale and I'm so happy I added it to my growing collection of Memory Box dies.

The current challenge at Memory Box is Falling for you and I put my new die to use on this card for the challenge.  I used Zig clean brush markers to color the die and birds and a sentiment stamp from MB too.  The background paper is from Stampin' Up.
Thanks for stopping by today, a cold one here, winter is coming :)

Happy "doggone" Birthday

On a recent trip to Wisconsin to visit my friend, I stopped in a thrift store to look for stamps and found this cute dog stamp for $2.  It's just so cute and I couldn't wait to make a card with him.  So, when I saw the challenge at the Muse Card Club this week the card design spoke to me and said "Use this stamp now"!

I took inspiration from:
1) Card design
2) Balloon
3) Background embossing

Squirrel Thank You

Love this time of year; the colors, the holidays and the beautiful falling leaves.  I made this card with a few challenges in mind (see below) with 2 stamps from Judith & Heather and a sentiment die by Penny Black.  And, I don't want to forget the little wooden acorn :)  My image is colored using Prismacolor watercolor pencils.
