This makes me Happy!

This week's challenge at Less Is More is "This makes me happy".  I am always happy spending time with my animals; I have 2 dogs (Angus & Gracy) and 1 cat (Boo).  I have had dogs all my life and cannot imagine a life without them.  And, cats, well a cat came later in life and I discovered I love the little buggers just as much as dogs :)

Glad you stopped by today, if you have an animal give them a big hug.

They do make our lives so happy!

Poppies again & again

Wednesday's challenge over at the Simon Says challenge blog is Anything Goes.  I took inspiration for my card from a donut card I saw at Dees Art Utopia, check it out.  If you have visited my blog in the past, you know I love poppies, can't get enough of them, so here's another poppy creation.

Thanks for stopping by today, keep warm

Case This Sketch #112

I love the floral papers in this little paper stack I won from Kathy at the Daily Marker and when I saw this week's sketch at Case This Sketch I decided right away to use flowers and smiles for my card.

Here is the sketch we were given this week:

So glad you stopped by today.  Keep Smiling!

An Irish Blessing

My friend and I stepped into a paper store this week-end and I purchased this pretty Penny Black tree stamp.  The name of the stamp is "spotted winter" and it was on a Christmas sale table for 50% off.  I felt so lucky to find this beautiful stamp; this is the first card I've made with it :)

I am adding this card to 2 challenges this week:

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - the challenge is the word "New", so I used my new stamp.

Inky fingers, the best there are!!  Thanks for stopping by :)

Fusion Hearts

I recently added a wood grain embossing folder to my supplies and when I saw the Two Hearts challenge over at the Fusion blog this week I knew exactly what I was going to do.  Teal wooden hearts, love them :)

Here is the inspiration photo from Fusion, I used both the sketch and photo for my card:

Glad you stopped by today, have a "lovely" week :)

Blue feathers

Blue feathers. I just love the Pacific Point blue from Stampin' Up, it's a beautiful color.  Been on a card making spree this week-end, here's the first of my creations.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a good week!
