Warm Birthday Wishes

Using the sketch from this week's challenge at Case This Sketch, I made this birthday card for my friend, Ingrid.

I recently added some "pearl" paper to my ever growing paper stash and love the shine to this pretty paper (hard to see in the photo).  And, I'm still loving my new Zig clean color markers, I used them for the 2 tone flower and the multi-color flags.

Here is the sketch for the challenge:

So glad you stopped by today.

Our Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50!
Life just doesn't get much happier than this :)

Silhouette Thank you....

I added a 24 pack of Zig clean color markers to my collection and used them to make the watercolor background on my card.  We have beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Colorado and the sky on my card was inspired by a recent sunset.

As this week's challenge at Less is More is Silhouette I am adding my card to the blog.  Stop by and check out the LIM blog, some lovely creations this week.

Thank you for stopping by today :)

Dreamy Cat

Christmas is almost here, it's always hard to believe another year has gone by.  The challenge over at Inkspirational Challenges this week is "Anything but Christmas".  Well, I guess it is time to move on and make cards and projects of another sort, isn't it?

I recently purchased this stamp set from Newton's Nook, isn't this little cat cute?  When I saw this week's challenge I knew immediately I would enter a card made with this set, and here it is :)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Delicate Butterfly

The City Crafter challenge blog is hosting a color challenge this week; the colors are: blue, white, grey and a touch of silver.  I originally thought of making a Christmas card for the challenge, however I saw a pretty card at a craft show that inspired me to create this card for the challenge.

Here is the pretty inspiration picture from City Crafter:

Love this picture board, so pretty.

Thanks for stopping by today :)

Give Thanks...

Next week we will celebrate Thanksgiving, a time to reflect on all things we have to be thankful for.  This week's challenge at AAA Cards is "Thanks / Thanksgiving", perfect challenge for this time of year.

I love Autumn, the scent in the air, the colorful leaves on the trees, the crisp, cool air; I could go on and on. Of course, most people make turkey for Thanksgiving (myself included) and the photo given for the challenge is a turkey (funny looking birds that they are):

Anyway, I'm thankful you stopped by today.  Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours :)
