Did Someone Say Donuts??

This week's sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches called for me to use my new stamp set from Neat & Tangled called "Say Yes to Donuts".  I love donuts, I do.  And, when I saw this cute stamp set I just had to have it.

This is the sentiment inside the card:

And here's the sketch:
Tomorrow is my husband Mike and my 32nd anniversary; I'm going to give him this card, ha ha ha.

So glad you stopped by today :)

If nothing ever changed...

The sentiment on this card is true:  If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.  Butterflies are one of Nature's beautiful creatures; I can't imagine not smiling when you see one.  I am submitting this card to 2 challenges this week:

Virginia's View Challenge #22 - All About Color
and

Muse Challenge 170 - Butterfly card
So glad you stopped by today :)

Anything is Possible

I keep trying to make CAS cards, not an easy thing for me as I love pretty paper, stickles and doo-dads?  But when I saw this weeks challenge at the Casology blog I just had to put this sentiment to paper :)

I recently purchased the background stamp at Tuesday Morning, it's a Stampendous stamp and I just love it.  The flamingo and the sentiment are from My Favorite Things.

You know what, it's true:  " Anything is possible with Sunshine and a little PINK :)

Glad you stopped by, hope you can enjoy the Sunshine in your town!

Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds, I just love these little, speedy birds.  Every year we hang a hummingbird feeder outside our kitchen window and watch the pretty hummingbirds.  We haven't seen any yet this year, but they'll come around once the weather warms up a bit.

This week's card challenge at Casology is the word "FAST".  I immediately thought of hummingbirds, they are so fast, they wiz by, you can hear their buzzing as they approach and before you know it they zip right past you.  So, my fast card is a hummingbird with a columbine, the Colorado state flower.

So happy you stopped by.  Have a beautiful day :)

Who's being goofy?

You're never too old to do goofy things!  In our house this is true, for me anyway.  I can be such a goofball at times, I like to have fun :)  These little Gnomes caught my heart the moment I saw them and then I found this sentiment, a fun card is born.  Thought this would make a great Birthday card.

I am entering my card in the challenge over at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, which is Anything Goes this week.

So glad you stopped by, now go be goofy and have some fun :)

Muse 163

I made this card for the Muse Card Club.  The flourish leaves are actually a shiny silver; I must get better at photographing my cards.  Both the leaves and flowers are My Favorite Things dies and this is the first time I have used the leaves, first of many I'm sure.

We were given this beautiful card by Jenni Murray to inspire us and inspire me it did:

So happy you stopped by, have a restful evening :)
