New color challenge at TGIF Challenges this week, the colors are red, pink and black.  As it will be Valentines Day next week I chose to make a Valentines Day card using these colors.

The scallop die and the circle die are. from Stampin' Up, the heart tree stamp is an older stamp from Memory Box and the greeting is from Simon Says stamp.  I love to use elements from different companies that fit together perfectly to make a card.

You're a Star

There is a new sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.  The sketch uses a heart as the main focus but I decided to use a star as the focus of.the card.  The star is an older die set from Stampin' Up.  I added some gold sequins and embossed the Happy Birthday from another Stampin' Up set in Gold and my card is ready.

Gears & Butterflies

A new card I made today for the challenge at Allsorts Challenge; the challenge is to create your own background.  For my card I used the following items:

• Stampin Up neutral sequins
• Stampin Up gears & textures dies
• Decoupage papers butterfly chronicle rice paper

I live close to the Atlantic Ocean and am always mystified by how vast and beautiful it is.  The design paper on my card is from a paper pad by Prima marketing called "The 3 Girls Tale".

I made this card for the challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch and will be submitting it to the challenge.

Shades of Blue

 

Blue is my favorite color, with green as a close second.  I recently bought this Shades of Blue paper and when I saw the challenge at Inspirational, shades of blue, this week I knew I would put this paper to use on my next card.

The supplies I used are:  Stampin' Up shades of blue paper, spotlight on nature dies and pearls.  The sentiment is from Memory Box.

Special birthday day

I recently purchased this Arched foliage embossing folder from Altenew and used it to make this birthday card for my Cousin.  The image was embossed then I cut around the leaves and added this pretty flowered paper to add some color to my card.  The sentiment and pearls were added next to complete my idea.

I will be submitting this card to this week's challenge at the Can you handle the pressure challenge blog.  The challenge this week is Anything goes with a twist of white.
