2 Sketches 4 You - Laura's sketch 50

I have made 2 cards with Laura's sketch 50: Just purchased one of Hero Arts new Artist Proof stamps, Wild Flowers. Isn't this a pretty stamp and it has so many possibilities. This card is made with a new line of Basic Grey paper "Cappella". I love the soft, victorian feel of this paper and thought it worked great for a Mother's day card.

Items used: Hero Arts Wild Flowers and Manuscript stamps, Stampendous hand of friendship stamps, ribbons, pearls, MS punch, Fiskars punch, twine.

Items used: TAC turtle stamp, button, Memory Box DP, linen thread, gems, Hero Arts flower, Fiskars punch.

A note of Thanks

Memory Box has such sweet, simple stamps and very lovely papers. This card is the first I have made w/ my Memory box Vintage notes stamp. One of the many Thank you cards I am making for my co-worker.

Blog Candy Alert!! WINNER

The winner of the White Points Blog Candy Alert!! is SALLY. We selected the winner the old fashioned way by writing everyone's name on a piece of paper and pulling the winner out of a bowl. My husband, Mike, drew the winning name.

A big congratulations to you Sally. Please e-mail me your address (lucille150@msn.com) and I will get the goodies in the mail on Monday. Thank you so much to everyone who played along. HAPPY STAMPING :)

Poppies, I just love poppies

This Hero Arts poppy bunch stamp is only available at Michaels right now. The Hero Arts blog says this stamp will be available in the next release (think I have that right). Anyway, I love poppies, they are among my favorite flowers; so of course I had to rush out and get this lovely, long, gentle poppy stamp. The sentiment is from Crafty secrets. I added some lace, pearls and twine. Viola!!

Pretty new flower set

Since Spring has arrived this year, I realized I really didn't have too many flower stamps. Bird stamps, I have plenty, but flowers...
I purchased this Hero Arts set and am very happy with it. Used Cosmo Cricket paper for the flower and a Cuttlebug folder for the embossed background. Put a few gems on the flowers center and some twine too :)
