Is that a Devil Dog????

Angus tried on his Halloween costume today, yes, that's him the Devil Dog. I tried to get a photo of Angus and Pearl (she has a costume too) but Pearl was not in the mood. I'll try again tomorrow.

I liked this card and the colors so much, I cased it closely; here's my card: All of the stamps are from Hero Arts, added a button and a tiny gem and my card is done.

Thanksgiving is such a nice holiday. Not only for the get together with friends and family and the wonderful Turkey, stuffing and "oh just pull up to the trough" but for the meaning of the holiday Giving Thanks. I made this card for my cousin who I will not see this year for Thanksgiving, but I give thanks every day for her.

The colors of Autumn are among my favorites and I find it easy to make a card with the warm, earth tones of Autumn. You get the picture :) Here's one of my Autumn birthday cards: The bird image on this card is from Debrina Pratt's wonderful blog
Here Items also used on this card: DP, pearls, ribbons, punch and a happy birthday stamp (sorry don't know the vendor).

Dream, dream, and dream some more....

The colors for this week's challenge over at the Play Date Cafe are wine, leather, smudge and parchment. I'm not too sure what color "smudge" is, but I took it to be black; here's what I came up with: I love the 2 design papers used for this card, the poppies are from Graphic's 45 and the parchment is from Imaginise. Other items used are twine, gems and a little gold leaf. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp.
