This Moment

I have a thing for Clocks, just love them.  We have quite a few, very different clocks in our house.  Now that Christmas has passed, time has been found to get creative with inks, papers and stamps again.  The clock stamp used on this card is a new one for me and it's the first time it has hit ink and paper.
I embossed the clocks with gold embossing powder and love the look (sorry, cannot see it too well in my photo.

Items used for this card: Kaisercarft Tic Toc stamp, Teresa Collins Then and Now paper, ribbon, gems, embossing powder.

Entering this card into 2 challenges this week: Just Us Girls and Simon Says .

Thanks for stopping by :)

Lovely Angels

Hi there, it's been a while since I posted to my blog.  Year-end at work is craaaazzzzy and then getting in gear for Christmas, what can I say, just didn't have the time.  Here I am on Christmas Eve relaxing for the day, Mike and I will go to dinner later and then BIG celebration tomorrow, yeah!

Now for the Lovely Angels post title, the challenge at The Play Date Cafe for the past 2 weeks has been to take inspiration from this beautiful Angel picture:

The colors to use are gold, mint, lavendar and teal.  These are such nice colors and I knew exactly what to do with them, and the inspiration photo; what do you think?

The image on my card is from the Graphics Fairy blog, fell in love with it the minute I saw this pretty angel. I added a bow, a flower sticker, gems, some pretty lavendar (& mint) Memory Box paper on the backgroud and a MS doiley.

Thanks for stopping by and Merry Christmas!!

CCCB - Christmas Easel

The challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog this week is "Christmas Easel"  We are challenged to make an easel card with a Christmas theme and were given this lovely photo for inspiration:

I took my inspiration from the pretty woodgrain backdrop in the photo; this is the first easel card I've made and I'm so taken with this type of card, think I'll make a few more.

You know, this really is the most wonderful time of the year.  Fresh, white, diamond snow, family and friends, wonderful food, beautiful lights, religious celebration........ this season is my favorite.

Thank you for stopping by today :)
