Did you say Cupcakes?

I was going through my stamps the other day and I uncovered this cute stamp by Mo Manning, the Cupcake Thief.  If you've never checked out Mo Manning's work you must stop by Mo's Digital Pencil Shop today.  One of my co-workers is having a birthday real soon and I made this card for her:

I added some red sparkly stickles to the cherry and a few gems and random sparkles too.  I'm entering this card into 2 challenges this week with the same theme "Anything Goes":

Forever Mine - hearts

You know how you have crafting supplies you haven't used in so long you forget about them?  I came across some provo craft scissors today that I haven't used in some time, and I used them to cut around the pretty Memory Box heart stamp I used on my card today.  This card was made for this week's challenge "Forever Mine" at the City Crafter Challenge Blog:

Items used for this card:  MB heart stamp, Penny Black sentiment stamp, Studio Craft wooden people, twine, button, embossing folder, gems and Graphicss 45 DP.

Love is in the Air

The challenge this week at The Paper Players blog is this nice, clean and simple sketch:

Yesterday I added some wooden embellishments to my craft stash; wooden people in 3 different sizes.   I have wanted wooden embellishments for some time now and finally have them :)  I chose to add some cute wooden people to my card for this challenge today:

Items used: Studio Calico wooden people, Hero Arts heart stamp, Penny Black sentiment stamp, lace and gems.

Friends Come In All Shapes & Sizes

If you are an animal person you understand what wonderful friends animals can be.  Our 2 dogs, 1 foster dog and our crazy cat fill our lives with such love and fun.  Our lives just wouldn't be the same without them.

The challenge this week at Less is More is the theme Friends.  I loved this image from Stamping Bella called Looloo & Ella the first time I saw it and it does prove that "Friends come in all shapes and sizes"!

Black, White and a splash of color

Great challenges out there this week and 2 of them are Black, white and a splash of color.  I chose Red as my color splash:

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
I love stamping & making cards
And I bet you do too!

Ha, one really can never have too many rhymes, don't you think?  Anyway, here's my card inspired by the challenges:

I am entering this card into the challenges at Less is More and Simon Says
