3 Poppies

There is a recipe challenge of "3" at the Less is More blog this week; put "3" of something on your cards and comment on "3" peoples blogs (as there are always so many beautiful cards to gather inspiration from, this is easy).  I recently added some Technique Tuesday stamps to my collection and I used the poppies from one of my stamp sets for my "3" card:

I just love Poppies of all colors, here are some orange poppies with a tint of yellow.

Thanks for stopping by today, Spring is in the air, green and colors are coming to us soon!

Butterflies, what can I say

Anyone who knows me and takes a peek at my blog now and then knows I LOVE BUTTERFLIES.  I recently added some Technique Tuesday stamps to my ever growing collection, here's a card I made with a TT butterfly stamp and sentiment:

Thanks for stopping by and indulging my butterfly love :)

Simon Says Glitter It....

Glitter it is the challenge this week at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.  I have used papers and stamps from the SS February card kit to create my card for this challenge and here it is:

I just love this flower paper and this pink watercolor paper from the card kit.  I stamped one of the flower in the kit and covered the flowers with pink stickles (just love this stuff).  The card base is a deep, pretty blue, but my crummy photo taking skills make it look black in the photo :(

Thanks so much for stopping by today, now get your GLITTER on :)

Found inspiration for these stamps....

Last year I bought a pretty Hero Arts stamp set called "Remember".  I tried so hard to make cards I liked with this set and was stumped, just didn't come up with anything I liked.  Well, today there was a scramble at the Hero Arts Flickr group and I broke out this set to try again.  The scramble was a color challenge, the colors were Navy & Mint (or Turquoise), I made this card and am happy with the way it turned out, I'm going to give this pretty stamp set another go 'round :)

It's snowing today and it's cold.  Oh well, Spring in the Rockies.  Thanks for stopping by :)

Beautiful Rainbows

The challenge this week at the City Crafter blog is "Beautiful Rainbows".  Well, rainbows are beautiful and after every rain here in Colorado (there aren't too many rains here) we see a beautiful rainbow.  I chose to make a rainbow out of different sized butterflies as butterflies are little, living rainbows aren't they?  Here's my card:

Thanks for stopping by today, and as one of my favorite quotes states:
Try to be a rainbow in somebody's cloud
