You're So Sweet

I made this card for challenge #232 at CAS(E) this Sketch.  The sentiment is from Penny Black and the donuts and whoopi cakes are a sweet patterned paper I have in my ever growing paper drawer.

Here's the sketch:

So happy you stopped by today!

Sparkle, it's your birthday

I made this card today for 3 challenges:

Seize the Birthday - topping = Splatter
Just Us Girls - Use something old and/or new
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

The splatter on my card was made using Bo Bunny glitter paste.  I used an older stencil by Tim Holtz for the splatter and a new stamp set by Penny Black for the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today.  SPARKLE!!

Inkspirational Challenge #140

I made this card for this week's Inkspirational challenge.  This is a photo challenge (see below) and I took my inspiration from the green and white wood background, the shells and the flowers.  Instead of flowers I used an older Hero Arts fern leaf stamp.  I added the dragonfly to give a spark of color to my card.  I think this card would be good for a guy, don't you?

Here's the inspiration photo:

Cas(E) this sketch #231

When I saw the challenge at Cas(E) this sketch this week I thought of this "dogwood branch" stamp by Memory Box because I knew it would fit perfectly in a little box.  I colored the flower and leaves with my Zig markers, fussy-cut the image out and assembled my card.

Here is the inspiration photo:

Glad you stopped by today :)

Musical Bird

I made my card for the challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog this week; the challenge is to use black & white (and maybe a touch of grey) on your project.  I had embossed this splatter background a while ago so I went through my stamps and selected this musical bird to go on the background.

Here is the inspiration photo from City Crafter:
