City Crafter Challenge - LIttle Snowflake

Kirsty is our host this week at City Crafter Challenge Blog and she's asking us to use just ONE snowflake on our project.  For my DT card I used my largest snowflake stamp and die cut from Stampin' Up.  Blue is my go to color for Christmas cards as blue is a "chill" color.

Please head over to the City Crafter blog to see what the other DT members have made, then join us with your project and have some fun.

So happy you stopped by today :)

Magic

This week's challenge at Just Us Girls is to take inspiration from a quirky photo (see below).  So, I jumped in and created my card.  I used Distress oxide inks for the background and added 2 different sets of dies from Simon Says.  The sentiment is from Poppy stamps.

Here's the photo:

Happy you stopped by today, thanks :)

CAS Colours & Sketches - Design Team Call

CAS Colours & Sketches is having a Design Team call.  I missed the close date of challenge #245, so have included my card for that challenge here

Muse Challenge #239

Autumn is in the air and this week's Muse card by Stephanie Lanzalotto reflects this time of year perfectly (see below).  I used a new stamp set from Stampin' Up for the leaves on my card and distress oxide inks for the background.  I made the sentiment on my computer; it's one of my favorite quotes for this time of year.

Here's the Muse card:

Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet...

Another Halloween card, one of my favorite holidays :)  This free digi stamp is from Torico digital gallery (Etsy shop), the stamp is just one little monster, but it's so cute I had to make 3.  I used Zig markers and I created the sentiment on my computer.

I am entering this card into 2 challenges:
Make My Monday - Halloween or Thank you
Just Us Girls - colors - black, green & purple

Happy you stopped by today!

Birthday Poppies

Rubbernecker stamps has some beautiful watercolor flower stamps and the poppy stamp on my card is one of them.  I used Zig markers to color the 2-step flower and just love the way the colors pop on this one.

The challenge over at Seize the Birthday is "anything goes" this week and as I have a few birthdays to celebrate in October I made this card for the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today :)

CAS(E) this Sketch #244

The sweet dog on this card is a stamp from Stampendous, it's a Laurel Burch stamp.  I made this card for this week's challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch.  I changed the shapes of the background pieces a little bit, but the basic sketch design is there (see below).  I took this photo in the evening, the colors are a little more vibrant in person :)

Here's the sketch:

So happy you stopped by today; a beautiful, sunny Autumn day here in Colorado :)

Muse Challenge #238

Halloween is right around the corner, one of my favorite Holidays!  I made this card for the challenge at the Muse Card Club this week.  Kim Heggins provided the sweet card below as the Muse this week.  When I saw the candy corn in the jar I knew exactly what I would do and pulled out a Lawn Fawn mini stamp set with cute smiling candy corns :)

Here's Kim's cute card:
