Balloon and Stars

Just received my order from My Favorite Things and I put together this little card with some of the stamps and dies in the package.

It just so happens the challenge at AAA Cards is "starry scene" and my card hit the spot for the challenge.  Here's the info for the challenge from AAA cards:

So glad you stopped by today.  Hope you can enjoy a starry sky tonight :)

Yellow is the Color!

I made this card for the challenge over at the City Crafter challenge blog.  We are to have the main focus of our card the color Yellow.  This little hoppy poppy image is so darn cute and I thought she would look great on a lemon frosted cake, and she does don't ya think?

Here is the photo image from City Crafter and it is yellow; so pretty too:

Happy you stopped by today.  We're having lots of sunshine in Sedalia today :)

Happy Birthday Elle

This birthday elephant card all started because of the design paper.  I saw the Hooray with the green slanted stripes and then the black and white birthday sentiment paper and it took off from there.

I decided to enter this into this week's sketch challenge at Case This Sketch because of the ragged, pointed top I cut into the birthday sentiment paper.  I know it's a stretch, but anyway....

Here's the sketch:

Happy you're here.  It's been raining all day, a good day to make cards :)

100% stamped

I am so into shaker cards now.  Just love them, the little sequins and mini beads give such sparkle to a card.

I made this card for this month's challenge at Virginia's View.  The challenge is to make a card that is 100% stamped.  I stamped my background with yellow ink, added a few splotches of orange then sprayed with a little H2O to blend the flowers a bit.  I then stamped the little butterflies, color with watercolor pencils and added a touch of green.

Glad you're here, hope you're enjoying your Summer :)

Sailboats in the wind...

The little sailboats stamp is from Lockhart stamps, which is now Pink Ink Stamp Company.  If you're not familiar take a peek, they have such nice stamps.

I made this card for the challenge over at the City Crafter Challenge blog.  Stop by and see all of the nice cards made for this challenge.

Happy you stopped by today and a beautiful day it is here in the foothills!

Up In The Air....

I made this card for the challenge over at The Male Room challenge blog.  The challenge is: Up in the air (no birds).  This cute airplane is from Lawn Fawn, so are the clouds.  Both sentiments are Technique Tuesday.  I enjoy making these shaker cards, must make a few more.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Now spread your wings and FLY!!
