Did you say Burlap?

This week's challenge over at the City Crafter Challenge Blog is called "Burlap Love".  Yup, that's the challenge, use burlap on our creations.  Back in February I purchased some grass green burlap and thought it would go nicely with this paper I recently purchased:

Burlap is fun to use on a card as it adds a touch of texture.  Believe it or not this is the first I have used this green burlap and I'm so happy the challenge inspired me to use it.  I think I'm on to something here, more burlap cards to come :)

Items used:  Hero Arts stamp - apples and sentiment, Doodlebug Designs fruit stand double-sided paper, burlap, ribbon and watercolor pencils.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy an apple why don't ya :)

Happy yummie card Lucille! Love that green burlap. You know, I never knew of the existence of green (or any colour) burlap... shame on me, lol. Thank you for joining us at CCCB! Hugs and happy day, Wendy
