Tuesday Trigger - Apache Tears

The Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World this week is called "Apache Tears".  I had never heard of chevrons being referred to as Apache tears before.  When I mentioned this to my husband, he told me the name came about during the 1800's when the calvery patrols came out west to engage in war with the Apaches; the calvery patrols wore chevrons on their uniforms.
Although somewhat disturbing (sad tears, not happy tears), I learned something new today.  I guess I need to read more Louis La Amore.  Anyway, here is the inspiration photo for the Tuesday Trigger:

And here is my card.  I chose to change the pattern from chevrons to squares staying as close to the color pallate as I could:
The squares are from a Bo Bunny geometric patterns stamp set and the sentiment and butterflies are Stampin Up.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Now hop on over to the book store and get a Louis La Amore book.  I'll be taking one from Mike's book stash and will start it later today :)
