A Cup of Joe


Hi there Divas!!  Our January challenge at Die Cut Divas is sponsored by Rachel Vass Designs.


The challenge is to "Frame It"; we'd like to see a frame of some kind on your card.

The challenge winner will be able to pick 3 digital stamps from Rachel's store on Etsy.

For my DT card I chose the "Cup of Joe" digital stamp.  I colored the stamp with Arteza watercolor markers and fussy cut the image to fit inside a frame I made.  The background is embossed with a plank folder, a bow was added as well as a little glitter butterfly to complete my card.

Die Cut Divas - October Challenge

I used a digi image from Bugaboo stamps called autumn owl for my card.  The image is colored with Zig clean color markers.  Added some design paper, ribbon and twine to complete my card.

We have a new challenge starting this month at Die Cut Divas and it's Autumn.  Autumn brings up so many ideas for a card, squirrels, acorns, falling leaves, Halloween, I could go on.; you get the idea :)

I colored the digi stamp with Prismacolor and Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and used a piece of designed paper for the background,  To finish my card I added some ribbon and a button.

Die Cut Divas - a HOT challenge

Since it's Summer in the United States I saw the word HOT as HOT weather (too darn hot for my liking) and thought of our trip to Africa a few years ago.  The African lands are dry and hot and the animals that live there are so beautiful.  My DT card has some of the many animals we saw in Africa with a cute little safari man and his jeep.

My card was designed by my Stampin' Up demonstrator.  I colored the flowers and leaves using alcohol markers and put the image on top of pretty blue gingham paper, then tied a ribbon for the finishing touch.  The smaller flower on top of the Happy Birthday is die cut.
